Do you long to see things
from a different perspective?
Then this is the place for you!
From tiny details to grand vistas there is so much beauty. In our busy lives it is easy to miss it and "learning to see" is all about creating time to notice it afresh. To find ways to capture the emotions and celebrate the most important moments and connections in our lives.
Find that Special Something...
For your home:
Browse the gallery of unique originals to find a piece that speaks to you.
If the size of an original doesn't fit your space, prints can be made, just send me an email so we can work out the details together.
For a gift:
Want to personalize a piece of art for that someone who has everything?
Commissioned portraits (of people or pets) are easier than you think. All you need is a good photo or two and the ability to digitally send them to me. Then just contact me and we'll walk through the rest together.
I'm an artist and Art Therapist living in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin with my two dogs, Buddy and Pepper (in picture). I have always been captivated by nature, tiny details, and possibilities.
Even before I could hold a pencil, paintbrush, or camera I have found ways to create and to take small objects of beauty home. I am a gift giver my nature, so my mother was the proud recipient of many shiny rocks and colored leaves, and my grandma, was often a gracious recipient of wild flowers and goldendrod (of which she was quite allergic to).
I've been able to extend my creativity into my profession as a mental health therapist to help people experience transformation. And as inspiration continues to well up inside of me, onto small and large canvases, I have decided to open my studio and process to you. I'm really looking forward to getting to know you and what images capture your heart.
As I hone my artistic skills through classes and creating I keep "learning to see" new beauty and longs for my art to help others see it too.
