Layers of painting and meaning go into each piece I create. In this one I pushed my comfort zone and boundaries with texture by using modeling paste, cold wax, stencils and only a pallet knife to apply it all (oh yes, and my fingers too). Shimmering gold is rubbed in as well so this piece changes its appearance depending on light and where you stand.

I thoroughly enjoyed creating this one and praying for the children in my life, especially the miracle baby of a dear family friend (arriving in a few months)!
